About Speaker
Michael Fischer studied mechanical and process engineering at the University of Technology Darmstadt from 2000 to 2006. In 2006 he joined Honda R&D Europe working in the area of powertrain technology research with a main focus on emission reduction of diesel and gasoline engines as well as model based engine control. From 2011 until 2014 Michael Fischer served as section leader “Powertrain Technology”. In 2014, he became department manager of the Automobile Engineering and Research department followed by the management of the Powertrain and Material Research department in 2016. Since 2019 he is Department Manager of the Digital Solutions & Electrification Research department, developing new business models and solutions for E-Mobility.
